Information
SCOUTS Association have been around for a very long time, and do amazing work with youths across the UK and the entire world. Armstrong Hall has been a Scouts venue for 80 years in Swinton, and backs onto Swinton Train Station, which is massively affected by Japanese Knotweed, which has affected all of the properties that link with its borders.
We were asked to take control of the rear garden area of the Scouts, which required a full renovation, but given the continued issue of Japanese Knotweed on the train station, the site would need partially excavated, Japanese Knotweed rhizomes removed from the ground all along the affected border and a C3 Japanese Knotweed Root Barrier installed all along its border to stop the nuisance continuing, before a new lawn and flagged area and raised bed were installed to make the area brand fresh and new for the use of the Scouts, and then combined with an ongoing 10-year thermo-electric plan to ensure the Japanese Knotweed was eradicated once and for all.
